Mirror finish! Introduction of a case where a thin plate was welded and buffed to extend a thick stainless steel plate.

We would like to introduce our sheet metal processing products, which are made by welding thick and thin plates and finishing them with buffing. We received a request to extend an existing stainless steel rail, and we created a sample to check the appearance and step after welding the thin plate. Since the surface requires strength, we performed bevel processing to add weld material, followed by grinding to achieve a smooth surface, and then conducted buffing to minimize the visibility of the weld seam. Additionally, as the product will actually pass over the surface, we have minimized the step to ensure smooth flow of the product.
